TABLE OF CONTENTS

Introduction

The transport cost corresponds to the cost incurred for shipping your product to the final buyer.

It is an ex-VAT cost that directly factors into the calculation of the landed margin.

This cost can be:

  • FBS (fbs_shipping_and_handling) or FBA (fba_shipping_and_handling)
  • Variable based on weight or fixed

To set up this cost in Multiply, you can:

[At the catalog or SKU level] Configure the cost directly in Multiply

  • Fixed
  • Variable

[At the SKU level] Import data via a file

  • With a fixed value per SKU
  • With the ID of an already created shipping cost template.

Configuring a fixed shipping cost

At the catalog or SKU level, it is up to you to create this fixed cost.

Catalog level : Catalog > Costs > + Create
or
SKU level : Pricing > Product > "..." > Costs > + Create

Configuring a shipping cost

First, you will need to create the cost template and then assign it to the catalog.

Creating the shipping cost template

Account configuration > Shipping cost template > + create

Assigning the shipping cost to the catalog

Catalog > Costs > + Create
